Our First Initiative

LA Government Primary School, Ajegunle

Our first outreach put shoes on the feet of children who needed them most: over 403 pairs of school sandals for students whose own had worn through, and more than 1,000 exercise books distributed to every student in the school. We stayed to teach, to play, and to share a light refreshment together.

We remain grateful to the teachers of LA Primary School Ajegunle for welcoming us on short notice, and to the State Universal Basic Education Board for lending their support to the growth of this work.

Development does not always begin with a large project. Sometimes it begins with reaching one rural community, or helping one child recognise an opportunity that once seemed beyond their reach.
